Welcome to Battle Cricket Club in 2013! This year we celebrate 275 years of recorded cricket in Battle. There will be special events throughout the year to mark this anniversary with a Cricket Week from 29th July to 4th August at our ground at George Meadow. The history of cricket ('Bats, baronets and Battle') around the town has just been published - use the link on this page or contact the club if you would like a copy.
Battle CC welcomes new members, whether playing or social. The club runs two sides on Saturdays in the East Sussex Cricket League from early May to early September. We also have a midweek XI which plays 20 overs-a-side matches in the local T20 Cup in May and June - this side usually contains a real mixture of age and experience. There are also a number of friendly fixtures (occasionally on Sundays) through the season.
The club has an active junior section. Coaching, with a professional coach, takes place every Wednesday evening (4-6pm) from April to early July at the ground.
Practice takes place at our compact and picturesque ground at George Meadow behind the High Street in the town. If you would like to come and meet some of us, then a Saturday matchday or during a midweek game is probably the best time to do it! Alternatively, use the contact links from this page.
